TSCA Shoot - 04/14/01
scores
For those of you
who were unable to attend, you missed a good one! Over 130 shooters competed
at the TSCA shoot at the Chicken Ranch coming from as far away as San
Antonio, Houston, Dallas and even Louisiana.
Shooters shot on
14 stations on a beautiful Saturday in Frankston. The targets were
considerably easier than those we encountered at the World English and
Browning/Briley the two prior weeks, however they were imaginative and a
good time was had by all.
Stan Faison shot
a 98 for HOA, followed by Vance Barnes and Chuck Ballard who tied with 95's.
Trophies were
given out to the hoots and cheers of 60 to 80 very enthusiastic competitors
who stayed to the end through the shoot-offs, door prize drawings, and
trophies. Ceramic style eagles, owls, ducks plus beer steins, carved
wooden coasters, and fancy letter openers were given away.
A special thanks
to Tim & Martie Holt (Sportsman's Closet) for giving the TSCA a very
special price on some very expensive door prizes such as shooting glasses,
gun slips, and a shooter's bag.
[Scores will
be posted upon receipt]
