Hill Country chosen as site for Olympic Matches
(May 2005)

Hold onto your hats!  The Hill Country Shooting Sports Center was selected this month by the governing body for Olympic shooting to host competitions!

Jack and Rose have worked very hard in conjunction with the Kerrville Convention and Visitors Bureau to bring about this exciting transaction.

This means our range will be a major venue for people around the world to participate in competitions. The impact will be tremendous and many improvements to the range and facilities are already underway. 

Sudie Burditt of the Kerrville Convention and Visitors Bureau is working right now with USA Shooting to set up matches from 2006 to 2010.   a World Cup match bringing as many as 500 competitors is scheduled for May of 2006.
