Open in October of 2000,
Hill Country Shooting Sports Center is the collaboration of Kerr County
4-H and Rose & Jack Burch.
From a modest opening
with just two skeet fields, one trap field with no other facilities and
a dirt entrance road, Hill Country has added a third skeet field, a 5
Stand field, International trap, sporting clays, rifle & pistol ranges,
a professionally paved entrance road and a clubhouse.
We continue to improve
and expand our facilities to serve our customers.
By the end of 2005 we
will have added a 6000 square foot clubhouse/proshop and a new rifle &
pistol range.
Plans for 2005 include
paved parking and cart paths for sporting clays and new sporting clays
ranges. We will also be adding Defensive Training Ranch as our
premier firearms training facility.
The Club house / Proshop
is about to open its doors for business.

in and browse the many retail products that will be available to Members
and visitors.
